What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a Web standard for receiving new information from Web sites in which you are interested. Decision Resources offers a RSS feed for news releases about our pharmaceutical market research. When there is new information on Decision Resources' Web site, it will be added to the feed automatically and you'll be able to see a summary and link without having to revisit the page.
How to subscribe to an RSS
A program known as a feed reader or aggregator can check RSS-enabled Web pages on behalf of any user and display any press releases or articles that it finds. Clicking on the headlines in the reader will take you to the Web site providing the feed.
Many newsreaders are available as standalone programs or extensions of existing programs such as Web browsers. Web-based feed readers and news aggregators require no software installation and make the your feed available on any computer with Web access. RSS feeds typically are linked via an orange rectangle with the letters XML

or RSS

.
A variety of RSS Readers are available for different platforms. Some popular feed readers include
Amphetadesk (Windows, Linux, Mac),
FeedReader (Windows), and
NewsGator (Windows - integrates with Outlook). There are also a number of web-based feed readers available.
My Yahoo,
