Assessing the Most Promising Areas for Vaccine Development Over the Next 15 Years

— A Webinar from Decision Resources

You are invited to attend a complimentary webinar from Decision Resources, one of the world's leading research and advisory firms focusing on pharmaceutical and healthcare issues.

Based on our 2008 Pharmacor report entitled Emerging Vaccines, Decision Resources is offering a complimentary, in-depth webinar entitled Assessing the Most Promising Areas for Vaccine Development Over the Next 15 Years.

Vaccine development represents a high-value sector in healthcare and substantial commercial opportunity exists in new vaccine markets, as exemplified by the multi-billion dollar human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine market. Many of the diseases covered in the Emerging Vaccines report do not have any licensed vaccines available but represent significant market growth opportunities for companies that can develop effective vaccines. However, these markets also represent substantial risk, due to the challenges of developing effective vaccines as well as commercial and reimbursement hurdles.

This webinar, presented by Analyst Hemali Patel, Ph.D., will discuss Decision Resources’ methodology in assessing the emerging vaccines market and the factors that are driving favorable risk/benefit ratios for vaccines in the pipeline.

The webinar will also answer the following questions:

  • Based on a detailed analysis of the pipeline, what are the commercial opportunities and potential risk factors that are present in the emerging vaccines market?
  • What are the opinions of key thought leaders regarding unmet needs, current and emerging vaccines and reimbursement hurdles that drug developers face?
  • What are the key patient populations in the vaccine market and which new patient populations will drug developers target in the years ahead?

Dr. Patel and Vice President of Infectious Diseases John Lebbos, M.D. will conduct a live Q & A session after the presentation.
